This Baby Bugatti goes on the littlest road trips

A Dutch entrepreneur and his young son are certainly making the most out of their Baby Bugatti II Pur Sang.

After a busy play-day at kindergarten in their Swiss home town the four-year-old is collected by his dad in the scaled-down supercar and the pair then take a tiny road trip down to the lake Oberägeri – usually with a stop for ice cream on the way.

“When I pick my son up from playgroup, I’ll often ask, ‘do you want to go in the big race car or the small race car?’, and he’ll always say the small race car,” explains Huismans. “So, we’ll both hop into the Bugatti Baby II and drive down to the lake and have an ice cream. We can spend an hour, half an hour, or sometimes lose track of time and spend the whole afternoon there.”

“We share many days like this, and it’s also lovely to see the fascination of the other kids at his playgroup. They’ll often ask to sit in it, and I’ll see their parent’s face light up as we go for a spin.”

Because the electric Baby Bugatti II, built by The Little Car Company, is just three-quarter scale it can’t be driven on public roads, but fortunately the Huismans’ mini road trip route is on private land, so these memory-making micro adventures are just fine.
