The Lucky Rabbit in Hattiesburg, Mississippi is a one-stop pop culture pit stop.

Founded by Brandon and Abby Thaxton The Lucky Rabbit calls itself a “variety store” but is more museum of nostalgia and kitsch, with displays of old Coke machines, arcade cabinets, phone booths and classic console games inside its massive 15,000 square-foot space.

We love their photo-friendly old VW Westfalia beach bus, although most visitors are attracted by the incredible recreations of cult TV show sets. Want to visit David’s Roesbud Motel room from Schitt’s Creek or take a trip to Stranger Things’ Upside Down? Then step through the doors of the Lucky Rabbit and you’ll find what you’re looking for.

Dressing the store with these excellent exhibits takes quite some time, so The Lucky Rabbit is only open at weekends (9am-6pm on Saturdays and 11am-5pm on Sundays).

If you can’t make it to Mississippi then you can keep up to date by following their Instagram page.
