Chemmy Alcott is a four-time Winter Olympian, ski coach, BBC Ski Sunday presenter and keen driver. Last winter, she challenged herself to drive a Škoda Enyaq around the Alps — learning the hard way how to make an electric car work over 4,500 miles in the mountains.

Through its 100 miles of gradual climbing, its flowing curves, sensational vistas and a couple of fabulous pit stops it turned a drive in a dreary Hyundai Santa Fe into one of my most memorable experiences.
