Bugatti owners take a billionaire's road trip across the American West
In one of the grandest of grand tours imaginable a brigade of Bugattis just road tripped through Utah and Colorado.
The Bugatti Grand Tour America started at the swanky Lodge at Blue Sky in Park City, Utah and finished 600 miles down the road in Aspen, Colorado.
The procession of 20 W16-powered hypercars filled their tanks at the restored 1924 Conoco Station on Helper’s Main Street before heading into the dramatic desert landscape of Moab and an overnight halt at the high-end Ulum Moab resort.
Day two saw the Bugattis blast through Gateway Canyon and on to Aspen’s Hotel Jerome, which was built in 1889 as America’s answer to the Ritz in Paris. From there the lucky billionaires (is there any other kind?) tackled the amazing mountain roads of the region, making the most of their cars’ combined 20,000 horsepower on the switchbacks.
