From Austria to Slovakia by EV

A new online electric travel guide steers EV drivers on a road trip across central Europe.

The free guide from Nissan offers advice on driving routes and pit stops on a journey from Austria, through the Czech Republic, into Hungary, and finishing in Slovakia.

Highlights of the trip include the Donau-Auen National Park on the banks of the Danube in Vienna, the medieval town of Kutnà Hora near Prague, the UNESCO site of Pannonhalma Archabbey in Budapest and the stunning views from the castle in Devin, Bratislava.

The guide also includes a variety of eateries, hotels, and, being aimed at EV drivers, suitable charging points along the way.

“The Nissan Electric Travel Guide bridges the gap between electric vehicles and the lifestyle considerations that are key to achieving sustainability. It connects the dots between the car you drive and the best local destinations, restaurants, and experiences, helping you plan a unique, authentic, and sustainable holiday,” said Friederike Kienitz, Nissan’s Senior Vice President, Sustainability, Corporate Affairs and Governance.

It’s the second of Nissan’s Electric Travel Guides, with the first being focused on a weekend escape in Stockholm.
