Morgan owners seeking a driving adventure can now access road trips run by the experts at Hero-Era.
A new arrangement means that anyone buying a new or pre-owned Morgan from an official dealership will get a complimentary one-year membership of Hero-Era. Joining the club gives drivers early access and special deals on Hero-Era’s rallies and road trips.
It’s a two-way street because Hero-Era members will also get a discount on a variety of Morgan-based experiences from factory visits to car rentals.
“Driving adventure has been central to the Morgan Motor Company since HFS Morgan’s first drive in The Runabout in 1909,” says Morgan CEO Massimo Fumarola. “Since then, thousands of owners have embarked on their own driving adventures all over the globe. In further pursuit of this adventure, we are delighted to be working with HERO-ERA. The team at HERO-ERA are the world leaders in historic motoring events, and we are delighted to be able to offer some of their expertise to our owners, as well as welcoming members of HERO-ERA to Morgan. We are already busy working together on our first event, Morgan Explores, which I look forward to joining and meeting with likeminded enthusiasts.”
Hero-Era, Managing Director Patrick Burke addd: “Hopefully, between the rallies and tours, we’ll see more Morgan owners putting these beautiful cars to use and enjoying events – traveling the world, mixing with like-minded owners, and most importantly, enjoying the drive and the Morgan lifestyle.”

The Morgan Plus Four is a car designed for sunny drives on high days and holidays. This trip’s lofty ambition is to reach the high society hangout of St Moritz in Switzerland in the depths of winter.
St Moritz might be best known for its Cresta Run bobsleigh track, but the bends of the Bernina Pass are just as exhilarating.
We don’t normally write about train journeys at Detour, but when said railway takes you and your car to one of the best mountain passes in Switzerland we’ll make an exception.
