Lamborghini takes over Telluride to celebrate 60 years
A convoy of 40 Lamborghini supercars cruised through Colorado as part of the Italian legend’s 60th anniversary celebrations.
The three-day road trip began in Aspen from where the Raging Bulls snarled and snorted through Paonia and the high plains of Montrose before climbing the mountain to Telluride. They then charged on to Ouray and the Million Dollar Highway – with many millions tied up in the cars themselves of course.
Along for the ride was Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann who said: “In celebration of the brand’s 60th anniversary, we are thrilled to bring our passionate customers together for an authentic Lamborghini driving program in our top market globally, the United States. Seeing the bold spirit of Lamborghini navigating some of the most picturesque landscapes in the country underlines the ‘fun-to-drive’ experience highly valued by our customers and fans.”
