Win a stay in the world's first car-powered hotel

Hyundai has opened the first hotel powered by an electric car and you can win an overnight stay.

The Hotel Hyundai pop-up uses the V2L (Vehicle To Load) feature of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 to provide electricity at a luxury cabin just an hour from London.

The high-end hut at Colemans Farm in Essex has a fully stocked bar, a restaurant serving locally-sourced food and a coffee lounge with the espresso machine powered by the car. There’s also a cinema and popcorn maker driven off the Ioniq 5’s battery pack.

The Hotel Hyundai experience is curated by broadcaster Grace Dent who says: “We’re looking for unique, memorable stays more now than ever and this is a delicious blend of innovation, luxury and comfort that gets you thinking. With power coming from the car, where could Hotel Hyundai pop-up next?”

For now Hotel Hyundai is only open until 5 November and for a chance to win an overnight stay visit Kip Hideaways.
