Bugatti owners take a billionaire's road trip across the American West

In one of the grandest of grand tours imaginable a brigade of Bugattis just road tripped through Utah and Colorado.

The Bugatti Grand Tour America started at the swanky Lodge at Blue Sky in Park City, Utah and finished 600 miles down the road in Aspen, Colorado.

The procession of 20 W16-powered hypercars filled their tanks at the restored 1924 Conoco Station on Helper’s Main Street before heading into the dramatic desert landscape of Moab and an overnight halt at the high-end Ulum Moab resort.

Day two saw the Bugattis blast through Gateway Canyon and on to Aspen’s Hotel Jerome, which was built in 1889 as America’s answer to the Ritz in Paris. From there the lucky billionaires (is there any other kind?) tackled the amazing mountain roads of the region, making the most of their cars’ combined 20,000 horsepower on the switchbacks.

“It is in the DNA of Bugatti to provide our customers with experiences that are truly incomparable. And the Bugatti Grand Tour America is just that – a special and unique experience that only a brand like Bugatti can create for its guests,” said Sascha Doering, COO at Bugatti of the Americas. “The Bugatti Grand Tour successfully combines adventure, performance and luxury, despite the challenging and adverse weather conditions. The blossoming of the comradery and spirit of our Bugatti community of guests was wonderful to watch and be part of. Our guests have made memories on this tour that will last a lifetime and beyond, with Bugatti stories and Bugatti tales being passed on from one generation to the next.”

It’s all right for some!
