BMW has embraced the slow movement this holiday season with a 20-minute-long video charting a snowy drive in Austria in the new, electric iX3.

Pretty much the entire film is from the driver’s point of view, and it’s a very relaxing way to spend 20 minutes, as the iX3 meanders through snowy alpine roads, in and out of tunnels and picturesque towns glimmering with Christmas lights.

The inside of the car is almost as white as the snowy scenes outside and the strange squared-off steering wheel is quite a quirk, while the video also gives BMW the chance to show off its latest big screen infotainment system. Because the car is electric and near-silent there’s a suitably festive soundtrack to accompany the journey.

The whole trip is conducted at a very leisurely pace and might just be a perfect thing to help you doze off after a Christmas feast.
