Four Seasons Drive Experiences reach new heights in Switzerland and California
Four Seasons hotels is following up its luxurious La Dolce Vita Italian road trip with two new drives in the Alps and the USA.
The Heart of the Alps tour begins at the Hotel des Bergues in Geneva and driving routes take travellers on a journey of local discovery that includes visits to artisans of cheese, wine and watches before finishing in the ski resort of Megève. During the week-long trip there’ll be plenty of chances to climb Switzerland’s incredible alpine passes, including the glorious Grand St Bernard that crosses the Italian border.
California’s Nappa Valley is the setting for a wine and food-themed drive based around the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Napa Valley. Oysters, boat trips, hot air balloon rides and vineyards galore are included in this seven-day trip that also takes in many of Northern California’s best roads which wind between the wineries.
“Four Seasons Drive Experience is a natural extension of who we are and what we deliver – creating curated experiences that allow guests to discover the character of a locale in new and unexpected ways,” says Alejandro Reynal, President and CEO, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. “From behind the wheel of a luxury vehicle, guests will enjoy an exceptional drive experience, always with Four Seasons service and genuine heart as their guide.”
Whether in Switzerland or California guests can bring their own car or rent a vehicle for the duration. The Heart of the Alps tour takes place from June 12-18 and the Nappa Valley drive is from October 29 to November 4. Prices are available by contacting the hotels (see links in text). But if you have to ask, you probably can’t afford it.
