Fiat 500 renovation specialists Real Italian Cars of Lucca is now offering a collection of classic Cinquecentos for hire.

The Italian startup also provides a variety of driving routes in the area “to help you see the very best of Tuscany and surrounding areas, getting behind the scenes of the normal tourist trail.”

The 500s can be rented by the day (€160) or by the week (€550) and can be delivered to your choice of accommodation, which could include the company’s own riverside apartment in Lucca (prices €85-€150 per night). Alternatively Real Italian Cars will arrange airport transfers if you prefer.

“Driving a Fiat 500 is a great way to experience the magic of Italy with the wind in your hair – and to feel like a local!” say founders Amedeo, Anthony and Mattia.

If you don’t want to hand the keys back after your road trip then the company can also source a Fiat 500 for you, restore it to your exact specification and deliver it anywhere in the world from as little as €9,000.
