Honda’s Dream Drives Delivers 120 of Europe’s Best Road Trips

It’s a sad day for Honda as it ends sales of the Civic Type R in Europe after almost 30 years. But it’s a happy day for driving enthusiasts as the marque has launched an interactive Dream Drives map to guide car fans along 120 of Europe’s most exciting roads.

As you’d expect, there are popular routes like the Stelvio Pass, the Transfăgărășan Highway in Romania and Scotland’s North Coast 500, but Honda has also delivered a few secrets, revealed by like-minded locals. These include the volcanic landscape of Káli-medence in Hungary, and the sinuous mountain roads around Pianezze, Italy, the home of the annual Marca Rally.

You’ll find many of these drives here on Detour, where we’ve also got rather more detail on what to expect, but Honda Dream Drives does offer easy integration with Google maps or your car’s built-in satnav system. You can search the database by distance or duration, keyword or type of route, although not by country as we do.
