Bentley laps the world to mark 20 years of the Continental GT

Bentley has circumnavigated the globe in style to celebrate two decades since it launched the Continental GT.
The luxurious lap of the planet was actually a series of relays, with 20 different drives in Europe, the Middle East, China, Asia-Pacific, the USA and the UK.
Beginning and ending at the company’s factory in Crewe, Cheshire, the only Bentley made item to actually complete the entire journey was a special hand-crafted baton, inspired by the car. That baton was passed between journalists and content creators in the UK, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, UAE, China, South Africa, Australia and the USA.
From the swanky lawns of Monterey car week in California to the mountains above Monaco and the desert of Dubai, as well as the cityscapes of Rome, London and Beijing the flying Bentleys made their mark – and as the video below shows, generated plenty of YouTube content along the way.
The Baton itself is now in Bentley’s Heritage Collection along with the first Continental GT to roll off the production line 20 years ago.
