Dacia makes car camping easy with new sleep pack

Buyers of Dacia’s Jogger Extreme SUV will soon be able to turn it into a super sleeper.

Okay, so that might be overplaying it a little, but a new Sleep Pack available for the rugged crossover can convert it into a cosy bedroom for two in a matter of minutes.

Replacing the Jogger’s third row seats, the pack features a 220-litre storage box for your night-time needs and a 190cm x 130 cm mattress which sits across the folded second row of seats. Blackout blinds keep the morning sun and prying eyes out and there’s an optional smart tent which attaches to the tailgate for extra room.

While it doesn’t look like a realistic #vanlife option the Sleep Pack should make occasional camping adventures more comfortable and secure than a leaky tent.

Although it’s not a 4x4 the Jogger Extreme has plenty of ground clearance and an Extended Grip feature to maximise traction on slippery surfaces so all but the toughest of trails should be easily accessible.

The Jogger Extreme costs from £19,445 and prices for the Sleep Pack will be revealed soon.
