Stay at this Swanky Hotel and Take an Eco-Friendly Road Trip in an Electric MGB
To celebrate its 40th anniversary Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons has partnered with RBW to offer guests the chance to explore the Oxfordshire countryside in a zero-emissions classic roadster.
The hotel, founded by chef Raymond Blanc in 1984, is on the road to becoming net zero, and already gets much of its Michelin star-winning food from its kitchen gardens and orchards. Adding the opportunity for guests to rent one of RBW’s electric MGB Roadsters helps drive this eco-friendly message.
Le Manoir’s General Manager, Niall Kingston says: “RBW have started their electric journey, to ensure that the future of motoring has emotion, engagement, and beauty. To modernise vehicles that will never go out of fashion and always make people feel good. What sets RBW apart is that they provide a complete service for Le Manoir and most importantly, our guests. Hand crafted vehicles built to exact specifications. A brand new sustainable modern drive.”
The green MGB has been purpose-built for Le Manoir and features a custom walnut dash, hand-stitched leather interior, unique alloy wheels and a soft top. Guests of Le Manoir can pick up a picnic from Le Manoir using local produce and enjoy excursions and tours of the countryside which are built into the navigation system.
“We’re honoured to be selected by the Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, a Belmond Hotel, as a business partner whose EV classic sports cars embody both the luxurious quality and the sustainable business practices the hotel’s world renowned reputation is known for,” adds Peter Swain, CEO of RBW EV Cars.
